Easy Homemade Chicken Tenders

- 3 lbs raw chicken tender pieces
- ½ C buttermilk
- 2 C all purpose flour
- Vegetable oil
Prepare a pot for deep frying.
Meanwhile, add the chicken pieces into a bowl and pour over the buttermilk. Ensure that the chicken is properly submerged. Let it soak for 2-3 minutes.
While waiting, add the flour into a bowl. Add some salt and pepper to your liking and mix.
When the oil is hot enough, begin to dip the buttermilk coated chicken tenders into the flour mixture.
Ensure that the pieces are well coated.
Then slowly lower them into the hot oil and let it cook for about 1 minute each side or until it turns golden brown.
Remove and place it on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
Repeat till all the chicken pieces have been cooked.
After it is complete, arrange the pieces onto a serving plate and serve with some ketchup. Optional to also serve with a side of fries. Enjoy!
