French bread has been around for many years. It is used to make sandwiches, decorations and even mixed in some soups. Many bakeries have their own ways to make French bread and some think that making one is too complicated. Not so! This recipe is here to save the day.

  • 1 pack quick rise yeast
  • ¾ teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 2 and ½ cups flour
  • 1 cup warm water
  • Olive oil

Pour warm water in a stand mixer bowl then put yeast and let bloom for 5 minutes

Mix flour and salt in a separate bowl then combine to yeast and water mixture until dough is smooth

Get a separate bowl and grease with olive oil and coat the dough

Place a towel on top of the bowl and let the dough rise

Create a log or loaf from the dough and place into oven

Set oven to 375 degrees and cook for 30 to 35 minutes
