  • For the Filling:
  • 4 C, pears, chopped
  • 1 T. cornstarch
  • ¼ C. honey
  • ½ T. lemon juice
  • ½ tsp. cinnamon
  • For the Topping
  • ⅔ C. all-purpose flour
  • ⅛ tsp. salt
  • ½ C. quick oats
  • ½ tsp. cinnamon
  • ¼ C. butter, cold and chopped
  • ¼ C. brown sugar

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Spray the baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Mix the pears, honey, and lemon juice in a bowl. Toss the mixture well, so all the pears are coated with honey. In a separate bowl mix the cornstarch and cinnamon. Add this to the pears. Stir to coat all of the pears. For the topping, mix the oats, brown sugar, flour, salt, and cinnamon. Pour the pear mixture into a baking dish. Pour the topping on the pears. Disburse an even layer of butter over the pear topping. Bake it for 20 minutes or until it is golden brown. Allow it to cool for another 20 minutes before you decide to serve it.
