Easy Key Lime Meringue Pie

- 3 large egg yolks
- 2 teaspoons lime zest, finely grated
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk (roughly 14 ounces)
- ½ cup key lime juice
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 1 9-inch graham cracker crust, prepared
- ½ cup sugar
- 4 egg whites
Preheat the oven to 350°F
Combine the egg yolks and condensed milk in a medium-sized bowl. Whisk in the juice, zest and cream. Stir thoroughly.
Pour the filling into the graham crust and bake for about 30 minutes, or until the filling firms.
In another medium bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Add in the sugar. Spread the meringue mixture over the pie. Bake again for 10 to 12 minutes until the meringue turns golden. Serve the pie warm.
