  • 1 lb. butter
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 lb. confectioners sugar
  • 3 C. sifted cake flour

Directions

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cream butter until light and fluffy. Add sugar and cream until well-blended. Add eggs one at a time and beat each egg into batter for one minute. Add flour and blend. Stir in vanilla. Pour into lightly greased 10-inch tube pan. Bake in oven for 80 minutes.
