  • 3 cups rhubarb, diced
  • ¾ cups sugar
  • 1 packet frozen strawberries, thawed
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • Dash of salt
  • 1 ½ teaspoon baking powder

Mix strawberries, rhubarb and ½ cup of sugar in an 8 by 10 inch pan. Sift together baking powder, flour, remaining sugar and salt. Cut in butter; add milk and knead for few minutes. Roll out and dot it with butter. Now roll the dough sheet and slice into 10-12 bagels, ensuring to cut out the center. Put slices on the fruit mixture. Bake the final mixture at 350 degrees F for about half an hour, and serve when cooled.
