Easy Swiss Steak
Ingredients
- 2-3 lb. cheapest cut steak you can find (the crock pot makes them soft)
- 1 medium onion
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
- 2 8 oz. small cans tomato sauce
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can of mushrooms drained
Directions
Sprinkle the steak with your favorite spices. Brown the steak in some butter on both sides. In a mixing bowl combine tomato sauce, soup and mushrooms. In the mean time, slice the onion into medium slices. Take the steak and put in the crock pot. Cover with the sliced onions and pour over the soup mixture. Set crockpot on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
