  • Dough:
  • 5 3/4 C. of all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/4 C. water
  • 1/2 stick butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • Filling:
  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • 2 potatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 1/2 tsp. cumin
  • 1 T. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper

For the dough, get a bowl combine the flour and salt. Pour the water, egg and butter into the bowl. Mix together. Let it rest for 20 minutes. The dough should be soft. For the filling thinly slice the onions. Cut the potatoes into cubes. When that’s done combine the meat and the mixture you just created together and place them into the crockpot until meat is golden brown. You’re ready to roll your dough. Use a rolling pin. Cut 4-inch square and place 1 T. of meat into the dough. Connect the opposite corners together on each side. Do this until all ingredients are used. Place the dumplings on an oiled pan. Let steam for 45 minutes. Brush butter over dumplings. Let cool for 5 minutes. Enjoy.
