  • 3 large tomatoes
  • 2 1/2 Tbs. Dijon mustard
  • 1 puff pasty package
  • 2 tsp. basil
  • 1 Tbs. butter
  • salt
  • onion powder
  • 1/4 C. balsamic vinegar

Cut tomatoes into slices and sprinkle them heavily with salt and onion powder. Leave salt and onion powder on tomatoes for 10-15 minutes. After, brush off extra salt and moisture using a paper towel. Place puff pastry on a baking pan sprayed with no stick cooking spray. Layer Dijon mustard on the pastry and sprinkle 1 tsp. of basil. Set tomatoes on top. Add the other tsp. of basil. Drizzle balsamic vinegar over the tomatoes. Bake at 400 degrees for 45 minutes until it is golden brown.
