Everyone knows about potatoes au gratin! Well, this recipe is like its second cousin!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 C. butter
  • 1 Tbs. flour
  • 1 1/4 C. milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbs. parmesan cheese
  • 2 Tbs. bread crumbs
  • 1 Tbs. butter, melted

Melt 1/4 C. butter, blend in flour and cook lightly for 1 minute. Add milk and cook until thickened. Pour sauce into baking dish, break in eggs and sprinkle with salt, pepper, cheese, crumbs and melted butter. Bake in oven at 400 degrees for 15 minutes or until cheese has melted.
