  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 C. onion
  • 1 C. green chilies
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 1/2 C. olive oil
  • 1 C. cheddar cheese
  • 1 C. mozzarella cheese
  • 1 pkg. corn tortillas
  • 4 Tbs. flour
  • 1/2 C. red chili powder
  • 1 Tbs. minced garlic
  • 1 can beef broth

In a pan, add olive oil, garlic, onion, green pepper and ground beef. Saute over medium heat until brown. In another pan, add olive oil, flour red chili powder. Let that brown and then add some beef broth. In a 3-inch baking pan, add olive oil, then layer corn tortillas, ground beef mixture and then sauce mixture. Finish with cheese and keep piling until you finish on top with cheese. Put in oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes and serve with shredded lettuce.
