Coffee and chocolate lovers will unite for this delicious truffley treat. Made with a coffee infused ganache and coated with cocoa powder; definitely a love at first bite.

  • 7 oz chopped dark chocolate
  • ½ C espresso
  • ½ Tbs unsalted butter
  • ½ C unsweetened cocoa powder

In a bowl, throw in the chopped dark chocolate. Then heat the espresso over the stove or in a microwave.

Pour the hot coffee over the chocolate and stir until the chocolate has melted and a smooth consistency is formed.

Add the butter and continue mixing until smooth. Ensure that there are no air bubbles or clumps.

Allow the ganache to set in the fridge for 30 minutes until it is firm. Meanwhile, prepare a baking sheet lined with wax paper and a bowl with the cocoa powder.

Once it is set, using a small scoop, make round balls of the ganache and place it on the wax paper. Repeat until all the ganache has been used.

Then, take the shaped ganache and roll them in the cocoa powder. Make sure that the entire ball is coated.

Place it back on the tray and refrigerate until serving. Enjoy!
