  • 2 lbs. pound steak
  • 1/2 C. onions,sliced
  • 2 green peppers
  • 1/2 lb. green beans
  • 8 oz. can tomatoes
  • 2 C. hot water
  • 2 tsp. beef bouillon crystals
  • 1/4 C. soy sauce
  • 4 Tbs. corn starch
  • 1/4 C. cold water

Pound the steak with meat tenderizer and remove the fat.  Saute onions in oil. Brown the meat in the same oil. Add hot water and the boullion chrystals.

Cover and simmer 20 minutes. Remove the meat and add tomatoes, peppers and green beans to pan. Bring to a boil and cook for 10 minutes. Add soy sauce and stir. Return the meat to the pan.

Disolve cornstarch in cold water. Add the meat to the vegetable mixture and stir until the gravy starts to thicken and clear. You can add more cornstarch if you want a thicker gravy. Serve over rice.
