  • 1 ½ C. water
  • 1 C. steel-cut oats
  • ¼ C. brown sugar
  • 2 T. butter
  • 1 T. cinnamon
  • ½ tsp. nutmeg
  • Dash salt
  • Dried cranberries and other preferred toppings

In your greased slow cooker, combine apples, milk, water, oats, brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Stir well, cover, and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. Serve and top with dried cranberries, nuts, and other preferred toppings!
