Fancy Oatmeal Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 C. butter
- 1/2 C. sugar
- 1 C. flour (sifted)
- 1 1/2 C. oatmeal
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- Optional: mix in 1/2 C. nuts or raisins
Directions
Cream butter and sugar, until smooth. Add remaining ingredients. Chill. Shape into balls, flatten with bottom of glass dipped in sugar. Bake for 8-10 minutes in a 350-degree oven. Let cool. Sprinkle with lots of powdered sugar.
