It's too bad that Fannie May candies could be found anywhere, so we tried a copycat recipe of their milk chocolate cream candies that you can try at home. These candies will make great gifts too.

  • 2 lb. powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 C. butter, softened
  • 1 can condensed milk, sweetened
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 C. milk chocolate chips

Mix all ingredients except for chocolate chips together with an electric mixture until creamy. Refrigerate for at least one hour. Place spoonful of powdered sugar mixture on baking sheet with wax paper. Refrigerate until ready to dip in chocolate. Heat your chocolate chips in a double boiler. Dip balls in chocolates and return to sheet. Refrigerate until chocolate is set.
