These nachos are topped with a homemade cheese sauce, mixed with spicy jalapeno pieces. Use your favorite tortilla chips and have some salsa on the side for this party ready snack!

  • 1 large jalapeno, sliced
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 2 tsp. cornstarch
  • 2 C. shredded cheddar cheese
  • Tortilla chips

Bake the jalapeno slices at 400 degrees for 15 minutes, then cool. Once cooled, chop the jalapeno pieces and set aside. Whisk together the 1 tablespoon of evaporated milk and cornstarch, and set aside. In a saucepan over medium heat, heat the rest of the evaporated milk, then add in the cheese and cornstarch mixture. Cook for 5 minutes, then stir in the chopped jalapeno. Pour over tortilla chips and top with extra jalapeno slices.
