Ingredients

  • 1 12-inch prepared pie crust
  • 1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin puree
  • 3/4 C. packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp. ground allspice
  • 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 large egg white
  • 3/4 C. heavy cream
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 C. diced fresh figs

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Mix puree, brown sugar, salt and spices in mixing bowl until blended. Whisk in eggs and egg white, one at a time. Add cream and vanilla. Mix well. Pour filling on pie crust. Place figs on top. Bake pie for 20 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
