  • 3 T. sugar
  • 1 T. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 3/4 C. milk
  • 1/4 C. butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 C. fresh raspberries
  • 1/2 C. sugar

Preheat your waffle iron to a medium-high setting. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Stir in milk, butter, and eggs. Mix until just combined and let stand for five minutes. Grease waffle iron with butter and cook waffles in batches, used 3/4-cup of batter each time. Let cook for about five minutes. Meanwhile, combine raspberries with sugar in a small saucepan. Let simmer for five minutes. Pour sauce on top of fresh waffles and eat immediately.
