  • Crumb Topping:
  • 1 stick of butter, melted
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • ½ C. sugar
  • 1 C. flour
  • Salt
  • Cake:
  • 1 C. sour cream
  • 1 ½ C. sugar
  • 2 apples, diced
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 ½ tsp. cinnamon

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease a cake pan. Make the crumb topping and combine all of the ingredients into a medium bowl. Set it aside. Meanwhile, make your cake. Mix the sour cream and eggs in an electric mixer. Add in the butter and vanilla. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Transfer this mixture into the first mixture. Dice up the apples and add them into the mixture. Pour the mixture into the greased cake pan. Sprinkle the crumb topping in an even layer. Place the cake in the oven for 40 minutes. Serve and enjoy.
