  • 2 C. all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • ¼ tsp. baking soda
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 ½ Tbs. sugar
  • 2/3 cup buttermilk
  • 3 Tbs. vegetable oil

In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, soda, salt and sugar. In a separate bowl, combine buttermilk and oil. Add milk mixture to the dry ingredients. On a floured surface, knead dough about 15 times. Roll out dough till about ½ inch thick. Cut with floured cookie cutter. Place biscuits on a baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden on edges.
