  • 2 cans crescent rolls
  • 2 T. sugar
  • 2 T. poppy seeds
  • 2 T. water
  • ½ tsp. lemon zest
  • ¼ tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 egg yolk, beaten

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a saucepan, combine sugar, poppy seeds, water, lemon zest, and cinnamon. Heat and stir until boiling; remove from heat. Roll out your crescent rolls. Spread on filling, and roll up each roll. Brush tops with beaten egg yolk, transfer to a baking sheet, and bake for 10 to 12 minutes until golden.
