Flavored Nuts

Nuts are a great, protein-rich snack to help get you through the day.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. cashews, pecans, peanuts, or walnuts
  • 2 tsp. peanut oil
  • 1/4 tsp.
  • kosher salt
  • 1 tsp. dried herbs such as thyme, savory, tarragon, or sage or spice of choice

Directions

Put all flavor ingredients into a mixing bowl. Add nuts and toss. Transfer to a roasting pan into which the nuts will fit in one single layer. Roast for 20 minutes or until nuts begin to color. Transfer to a paper towel to drain excess oil.
