  • 24 jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 container of ricotta
  • 2 C. shredded mozzarella
  • 1 package of frozen spinach, chopped
  • 10 basil leaves, chopped
  • 1 large egg, slightly beaten
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • 1 jar of spaghetti sauce

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Cook the pasta shells according to the package, drain and set aside. Stir together the ricotta, spinach, basil, egg, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Pour ¾ C. spaghetti sauce over the bottom of a baking dish. Stuff the shells with the cheese mixture and place them into the baking dish. Cover the baking dish with foil and let it cook for 35 minutes. Right before it’s ready add the remaining spaghetti sauce over the shells and sprinkle the shredded cheese over the top. Let it cool and enjoy!
