Foolproof Mushrooms

These tasty little treats can be made up to 4 hours ahead of time, refrigerated, then warmed when ready to serve.

Ingredients

  • 1 5.2-oz. pkg. garlic-herb cheese spread
  • 3 Tbs. grated Parmesan cheese, divided
  • 30 sm. fresh mushrooms, stems removed
  • fresh basil, thinly sliced, optional

Directions

In a small bowl, combine cheese spread and 2 Tbs. Parmesan cheese; spoon into mushroom caps.  Transfer to a foil-lined baking sheet; sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese. Bake at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Garnish with basil if desired.
