Foolproof Pie Crust
Ingredients
- 4 C. flour
- 1 C. shortening
- 1 C. margarine
- 1 Tbs. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbs. cider vinegar
- 1 lg. egg
- 1/2 C. water (cold)
Directions
Mix together flour, sugar, and salt. Then cut in the shortening and margarine and mix together with a pastry blender until fully blended. Beat the vinegar, egg, and water together. Combine both mixtures. Mold into a ball, and chill forĀ 30 minutes before using.
