No need to go to Frank’s to get your hand’s on a melty Muffaletta. This unique sandwich is full of the sharp and earthy flavor of olives. The salami, capicola, and pepperoncini are the perfect mix!

  • 1 soft round loaf Italian bread
  • 1 C. olive salad
  • ⅛ lbs. mozzarella, sliced
  • ⅛ lbs. Provolone, sliced
  • ¼ lbs. Genoa Salami
  • ¼ lbs. Capicola or deli ham
  • ¼ C. pepperoncini, sliced

Directions

Preheat your oven to 450 degrees. Slice the loaf in half and brush the top half with olive oil (best with the olive from the olive salad). Layer the meats and cheeses and spread some of the olive salad on top. Put the pepperoncini on and close the sandwich. Toast the sandwich in the oven for 7-10 minutes. Quarter the sandwich and enjoy!
