Freezer Fresh Herb Helpers

I make and freeze herb cubes to use in sauces, soups and entrees throughout the year! I make them for sauces and soups. They add just that extra fresh taste to soups, meatloaf, sauces and so forth. I store my herb mixtures in small plastic containers. These helpers are wonderful on fish and meats as well as vegetables.

Ingredients

  • Option 1:
  • basil
  • parsley
  • garlic
  • 1/3 C. olive oil
  • Option 2:
  • thyme
  • 1/3 C. butter

Directions

Chop fresh herbs separately and add 1/3 cup of olive oil or butter to each. Store in small containers in the freezer. Add to recipes wherever you need butter or olive oil accordingly.
