With a mix of white wine and Worcestershire sauce, you can create this lovely French onion beef stew!

  • 1 1/2 lb. beef stew meat, cut into 1/2 in. pieces
  • 6 C. onions, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 can beef broth
  • 1/4 C. butter
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1/4 C. white wine
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 C. shredded Swiss cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Mix beef broth and onions in bowl. In another bowl, mix everything else except beef. Place beef in crockpot. Top remaining ingredients on beef. Mix well and cook on low for 7 to 8 hours.
