Yet another breakfast favorite that is especially great for kids. Easy to eat and optional to serve with a variety of sides and sauces. Store these delicious treats in the freezer and reheat in the morning for a breakfast you and your family will love!

  • 8 slices thick white bread
  • 3 Tbs butter
  • 4 eggs
  • ½ C milk
  • 1 tsp cinnamon sugar
  • Salt
  • Powdered sugar
  • Optional: Fruit, chocolate sauce, maple syrup, honey

Cut each slice of bread into 4 even sticks. Optional to remove the crust.

In a bowl, beat the eggs, milk and a pinch of salt together.

Melt the butter in a pan over medium high heat. Swirl the pan around so that the butter is evenly spread.

Take the bread sticks and dip them in the egg mixture, making sure that they are evenly coated. Shake of the excess and place them in the hot pan.

Cook the bread sticks until they become golden brown on all sides.

When it is ready, remove and set it on a serving plate. Repeat until all the bread sticks have been dipped and cooked.

Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar and powdered sugar over the hot French toast sticks and serve warm.

Optional to serve with fruit, chocolate syrup, maple syrup and honey.
