Crisp are probably one of the easiest desserts to make, this one is no different. This fresh fruit crisp is crumbly and delicious. It has a nice spice from the nutmeg and ginger that pairs perfectly with sweetness of the fresh cranberries.

  • 3 C. bartlett pears, chopped and peeled
  • 1 C. fresh cranberries
  • ½ C. all-purpose flour
  • ½ C. old-fashioned oats
  • ⅓ C. butter, diced
  • ¾ C. brown sugar
  • ½ tsp. vanilla extract
  • Ground cinnamon, to taste
  • Ground nutmeg, to taste
  • Ground ginger, to taste

Grease an 8-in. baking dish, toss the cranberries, pears, and vanilla together, and place them inside. In a bowl, combine the rest of the ingredients and pour them on top. Bake the dish for 30 minutes until it’s browned and crunchy.
