Fresh Green Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette
- 6 C. fresh Romaine lettuce torn into bite-sized pieces
- 1 green pepper thinly sliced
- 1 seedless cucumbers, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/3 C. olive oil
- 1/3 C. balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp. mustard seed
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
To make the salad, arrange ingredients in a large bowl and toss.
To make the dressing, mix ingredients and the pour over salad and toss just before serving.
