  • 2 C. pasta, cooked and drained
  • 1 T. olive oil
  • 3 T. butter
  • 3-4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 T. flour
  • 1 C. chicken broth
  • 1 C. milk
  • ½ C. Parmesan cheese, shredded
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Fresh parsley to taste

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a saucepan, heat oil and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add butter, melt, and whisk in flour until mixture thickens. Whisk in chicken broth and milk. Bring sauce to a simmer and stir while mixture continues to thicken. Stir in Parmesan, salt, pepper, and lemon zest. In a greased baking dish, toss pasta with sauce and parsley. Top with extra cheese and bake for 15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
