  • 2 C. fresh lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 C. sugar
  • 2 C. boiling water
  • 6 C. cold water
  • 1 lemon sliced

Boil water. Very carefully add the sugar to the boiling water to make simple syrup and stir until completely dissolved. Place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to cool down. In a large jug or pitcher combine the lemon juice, cooled sugar/water mixture, 6 C. of cold water, lemon slices, and ice. Stir well to mix. Serve ice-cold.
