Fresh Orange Sorbet
Serving Size / Yield
- 2 cups orange juice (juice from 6 oranges)
- 4-6 tablespoons sugar
- 1-2 tablespoons water
Juice each orange in a small bowl. Add sugar to small saucepan with 1 tablespoon water and heat on low heat until sugar dissolves. Add mixture to orange juice and sweeten to taste. Chill sweetened juice for 1 hour. Pour sorbet into a pan and alternate freezing and whisking with a fork to remove ice crystals Scoop remaining pulp from oranges to create orange bowls and divide sorbet between bowls.
