Tastes very good. The crust is crisp and the peaches are soft and creamy.

Slice peaches and place in a buttered 9x9-inch baking dish. De-crust bread and cut each slice into 5 strips and place over fruit (will make two layers of lattice over fruit). Melt butter and mix with sugar and flour. Add eggs and mix well. Drizzle over bread. Sprinkle with cinnamon or nutmeg, if desired. Bake in a 350 degree oven 30-35 minutes until top browns. Serve warm with your favorite topping. Pears may be subsituted for peaches. Add 2 Tbs. of water to fruit layers.
