Fried Apple
Ingredients
- 3lbs Granny Smith Apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- dash of freshly grated nutmeg, optional
- 3 Tbs. cornstarch
- 1 C. granulated sugar
- 1 to 2 Tbs. butter, cut into small pieces
Directions
Place apples in slow cooker/Crockpot. Mix in the other ingredients and dot with butter. Cover and cook on low for about six hours, or until apples are tender but not mushy. Stir about halfway through.
