  • 2 C. mac and cheese, refrigerated overnight
  • 1/2 C. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. cayenne
  • 1/3 C. whole milk
  • 1/2 C. bread crum bs
  • Oil for deep frying

Heat oil in pot for deep frying. In a bowl, mix together flour, salt, pepper, and cayenne. Keep a bowl of milk and bowl of breadcrumbs nearby. Make a ball out of leftover mac and cheese. Dip ball in flour mixture, then in milk. Finally, roll in breadcrumbs and set on plate. When oil heat reaches around 375 degrees F, drop coated macaroni balls into pot. Fry until golden brown, then drain on paper towels.
