Ingredients

  • 2 qts Vegetable Oil, for frying
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1 C Milk
  • 2 tsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1 C Pancake Mix
  • 1 18-oz pkg Oreos
  • Confectioners’ Sugar, for dusting

Directions

Start by heating your oil in a deep fryer or in a large Dutch oven to 375 degrees. While your oil is heating, make your batter. Whisk together the egg, milk, and two teaspoons of vegetable oil in a bowl until smooth. Stir in your pancake mix until well combined.

Continue by dipping your cookies into the batter one at a time and carefully transferring the battered cookies into the preheated oil. Fry the cookies in batches of about four to five and allow each batch to cook for about two minutes.

Remove the cookies from the oil and let drain on paper towels. Dust with confectioners’ sugar and serve.
