Fried Peppers, Onions and Sausage with Port Balsamic Vinegar

Peppers, onions and sausage never came together more beautifully than with this O Olive Oil Port Balsamic Vinegar!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 C. olive oil
  • 6 lg. red bell peppers, cut into strips
  • 2 med. onions, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbs. O Olive Oil's Port Balsamic Vinegar
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 lbs. Italian sweet sausage

Directions

Heat oil in heavy skillet over medium heat. Add peppers, onions, garlic and balsamic vinegar and saute approximately 10 minutes. Cover and cook until tender, about 5 minutes. Meanwhile, cook sausages in another heavy large skillet over medium heat until brown and cooked through, turning occasionally, about 15 minutes. Transfer to platter. Surround with peppers. Sprinkle a little more O Olive Oils Balsamic Vinegar on top and serve.
