Directions

For filling, mix all of the ingredients well in a large bowl, but set aside ½ cup of canned cranberry sauce and 12 dumpling wrappers.
Next, lay the wrappers out and open and top with a teaspoon of the turkey filling. Then, add half of a teaspoon of the cold cranberry sauce along with the turkey. Lightly brush the edges of the dumpling wrappers with some water, and fold the wrappers in half to seal.
In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of oil on medium heat. Add a layer of dumplings to the pan and cook until the skin begins starts to brown, or for 15-30 seconds. Then, add ½ cup water and cover with the pan lid. Let the dumplings cook for 3 minutes.
Next, uncover the lid and let the dumplings cook until the water has evaporated and the bottoms are crispy and golden brown. Let the wontons cool for 5 minutes.
While the dumplings are cooking, set a saucepan on medium heat and cook down the cranberry sauce with the red pepper flakes, onion powder, garlic powder, and lemon juice. Use a whisk to break down the mixture easily.
Let the sauce cool, and then serve in a bowl with the fried dumplings. Enjoy!
