These wings are different because they aren’t served with any sauce and won’t make a mess when you eat them! That doesn’t mean they aren’t full of flavor, though. These wings are marinated and seasoned so they are delicious, without being a mess!

  • 1 1/2 lb. chicken party wings
  • 3 Tbs. Cajun seasoning
  • 1/4 C. oil
  • 1 tsp. honey
  • 1 Tbs. cornstarch
  • 1 C. flour
  • 2 tsp. seasoning salt
  • oil for frying

Rinse and dry the chicken. In a bowl, combine the Cajun seasoning, oil, and honey. Toss the chicken in the mixture and cover. Refrigerate for 2 hours.

In a resealable plastic bag, combine the cornstarch, flour, and seasoning salt. Place the marinated chicken in the bag and shake to coat. Place the coated chicken on a plate and let it sit for 15 minutes.

Heat 2 in. oil in a heavy pan over medium-high heat until it reaches 350 degrees. Fry the chicken in batches for 5 to 7 minutes, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
