These dark chocolate cookies are simply to die for. Better than ordinary chocolate cookies, this recipe calls for both white chocolate and regular chocolate chips, plus delicious macadamia nuts.

  • 1/3 cup dark cocoa powder
  • 1 ¼ cup flour
  • ½ cup butter
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ¾ cup white chocolate chips
  • ¾ cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped macadamia nuts
  • 1 egg
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Begin by preheating the oven to 350 degrees. Line the cookie sheets with parchment paper. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, salt, flour, and baking soda. In a bowl with an electric mixer, cream the butter and sugars together. Mix in the egg and vanilla until the combination is smooth. Add the dry ingredients and mix until it is combined. Mix in both chocolate chips and nuts. Scoop balls of dough onto the cookie sheets, a few inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Cool for at least 5 minutes.
