Garden Fresh Green Beans
Ingredients
- 1 lb. green beans
- 1 medium sweet onion, sliced thinly
- 3 tbsp. butter
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1/4 C. chicken broth
Directions
Snip ends off green beans; halve lengthwise, then crosswise. In a medium size pan, sauté onion in butter until soft. Stir in beans and toss. Add the remaining ingredients, and heat to boiling. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes until beans are just tender. Serve.
