This garlicky and crunchy dish is quickly cooked and even more quickly consumed! Made with classic Italian ingredients, this garlic bread doubles as both good comfort food and a great appetizer recipe to serve family and friends.

  • 6 large garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1/4 C sliced parsley
  • 1/2 C virgin olive oil
  • 1 baguette

Preheat oven to 350ยบ. Finely chop and mix garlic and parsley.

Heat olive oil in non-stick pan over medium heat: cook garlic and parsley mixture in oil for 1 minute until garlic is tender, then remove from heat.

Slice the baguette lengthwise to form a hot dog-esque pocket and spoon garlic mixture and olive oil into the bread.

Place the bread on a sheet pan and bake for 8 minutes in oven.

Slice bread crosswise, garnish on top with remaining parsley, and serve.
