Garlic Broccoli Rabe

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs. broccoli rabe
- salt
- 3 Tbs. olive oil
- 2 lg. garlic cloves, thinly sliced
- pinch crushed red pepper
Directions
Separate broccoli rabe into florets. Trim off base of the stems. Cut each floret crosswise into 2-3 pieces. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the vegetable and salt to taste. Cook for 5 minutes, or until broccoli is tender. Drain. Dry the pot and add the oil, garlic and red pepper. Cook over medium heat until garlic is slightly golden, 2 minutes. Add broccoli and a pinch of salt. Stir well. Cook for 3 more minutes. Serve.
