Create these bite sized potato appetizers right at home. Topped with pressed garlic, you can also pair these with your favorite choice of ranch dipping sauce.

  • 24 ounces Dutch yellow baby potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, pressed
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
  • salt and ground black pepper, to taste

Preheat oven to 450F. Lightly grease a baking sheet.
In a large pot of boiling water, cook potatoes until tender, about 15-20 minutes and then drain them when finished.
Place potatoes onto the prepared baking sheet. Using a potato fork or spoon, carefully smash the potatoes until flattened but still in one piece. Drizzle with olive oil, garlic and thyme.
Place into oven and bake until golden brown and crisp, which usually is about 15-20 minutes.
Remove from oven and serve with ranch sauce of your choosing.
