This baked salmon is quick and easy to make. It has a delicious garlic and lemon-lime flavor and would be perfect served with broccoli or asparagus on the side.

  • ½ cup water
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 thinly sliced cloves garlic
  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 1 minced clove garlic

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F and mix the water, lemon, and lime juice in a small bowl. Cut half of the butter into 16 pieces. Arrange these pieces of butter on a baking dish. Top the butter with garlic slices and then the salmon fillets. Melt the remaining butter and minced garlic in a bowl for less than 45 seconds. Spoon half the butter-garlic over the fish and pour half the lemon-lime juice into the baking dish. Bake for 10 minutes and then add the remaining butter and citrus juice. Bake for 10 more minutes.
