We're all about home-made snacks that can be customized and that have only ingredients YOU want in them. These garlic pita chips have only 5 ingredients that you can adjust to your own tastes and you can control the salt content too!

6-8 servings


  • 4 whole wheat pitas
  • 1 tsp. italian seasoning
  • 2 Tbs. extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Keep in mind the seasoning can be altered to taste!
Position your over racks to the lower third and middle of the over and preheat to 375 degrees Fahrenheit
Coat two baking sheets with cooking spray
Slice pitas into 8 wedges each and spread evenly onto the baking sheets, rough sides up
Brush the chips with olive oil and sprinkle evenly with seasonings (for best results, combine spices first then sprinkle all over chips)
Bake 6-8 minutes or until crispy and golden brown and serve with your favorite dip
