  • 3-4 C. shrimp, shelled and deveined
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • ½ lb. Italian-style green beans
  • 1/3 C. chicken broth
  • 1 T. fish sauce
  • Fried onions for garnish

In a large skillet or wok, heat oil and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook as shrimp turn pink. Toss in green beans, sauté for 2 to 3 minutes and pour in chicken broth. Bring to a simmer and stir in sugar and fish sauce.
